Sourdough "Discard" Tortillas

Only 4 basic ingredients: Flour, water, butter, salt. ( I dont count the starter in the ingredient count because its only flour and water after all!) You will NEVER want storebought ones again. I promise they are easy & oh so delicious. They are on my top 5 FAVORITE sourdough items I make weekly.

You can make them with whole grain flour, all purpose or even fresh milled. For lighter and fluffier ones, use all purpose.

Please take notice on the NOTES section of the recipe. You want to be careful to NOT overcook them because they will turn out hard and stiff if overcooked. The Key is decently hot skillet & cooking for about 40-60 seconds per side. If its not bubbling and developing brown spots that quick, turn your heat up a tad until you hit that sweet spot.
